DELIVERY TIME

Our UK Delivery Services Explained

Orders placed before 12:30 pm (Monday-Friday) will be dispatched the same day and delivered via our courier the next business day. Please note however that this is only possible when the products ordered are available from stock and we do not guarantee a next day delivery.

Where the product is not available from stock, you will be informed as to the next available delivery date or be offered an alternative (if possible). Where orders are placed on a Friday (before 12:30 pm), the delivery will be made on the following Monday or if a Bank Holiday the next available business day.

Exceptions to this are deliveries which fall outside of the next business day in terms of service. Deliveries to The Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man may be delivered within 2-3 business days. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to Republic of Ireland at the moment.

A signature will be required on delivery.

In the event of your being out when your order is delivered a card will be left with instructions for collection from your local depot or notification of re-delivery.

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email confirming the courier's consignment number.


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
 

What happens if I am out when you attempt delivery?

All deliveries will require a signature If no one is available to accept the delivery the driver will leave a card for you to arrange a more convenient delivery time or you'll also be able to collect from your local depot.


Can my order be delivered to another address?

Yes, of course. During the checkout process, you'll have the opportunity to select an alternative delivery address.


Can I name the day for delivery?

We aim to dispatch all orders the next day if the stock is available. At present, you cannot specify the day for delivery.


Can I send a delivery to more than one address?

You can only specify one delivery address per order. If you wish to have products delivered to more than one address, you would need to place separate orders for each address.

RETURNS POLICY

 

By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within 14 days from the day after the date of delivery. This only applies to unopened items in their original, sealed packaging. Claims for short deliveries (missing products), incomplete or damaged items must be made, in writing via email within 48 hours of delivery.

For us to deal with your return you will have to obtain a Returns Number (RMA) and have the return approved by us before you return any item. No item can be returned without first having their RMA approved.

Customers must return unwanted goods at their own cost using a 'signed for' postal/courier service. We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect after these 14 days, nor if they have been used or removed from their original packaging. Upon inspection, the sale will be refunded less the initial and return carriage charge. Upon inspection, we reserve the right to make a deduction from your refund for items received damaged or not in a saleable condition. Refund payments may take up to 14 days to process.

Please note that returning special order/made to order items may incur a handling charge depending upon the manufacturer's terms. This may be as much as 40% of the original invoiced amount from some manufacturers. Please carefully check and confirm all specifications before ordering.
 

Faulty Goods

In the unlikely event that a product that you have purchased from us develops a fault please email us at returns@woodsandstar.co.uk to request a replacement. Plus to obtain a Returns Number (RMA) to the return the faulty item this must be approved by us before you return any item. No item can be returned without first having their RMA approved. Please note customers may be responsible for carriage charges that may apply.
